I’m Teryn, and I’m so excited to share my fitness journey with you here at Our Fit Family. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been on a mission to lose weight and tone up. It hasn’t always been easy, but within the last year, I’ve made significant progress by focusing on my protein and sugar intake.
Finding What Works
For a long time, I struggled with those last stubborn 10 pounds. It felt like no matter what I did, they just wouldn’t budge. But then I started paying closer attention to my diet, particularly my protein and sugar intake. This change made a world of difference, and I finally reached my weight loss goal.
Next Steps: Toning and Building Muscle
Now that I’ve lost the weight, my next goal is to get toned and build more muscle. Balancing my responsibilities as a mom while finding time for myself can be challenging, but it’s essential. I’ve learned that making small, consistent changes can lead to significant transformations.
A Sustainable Lifestyle
What’s been most exciting for me is that I’ve been able to turn this way of eating into a lifestyle, not just a temporary fix for a specific event or trip. I’ve found a balance that allows me to enjoy treats and still maintain a healthy weight. This past year has been a journey of discovering what works for me and how to integrate these healthy habits into my daily life.

I’m excited to continue this journey and to focus more on toning and building muscle. I want to share what I’ve learned and hopefully inspire others to find their own path to a healthier lifestyle.
